IRAN has defied imminent United Nations sanctions over its nuclear program and pledged that it will become a member of the nuclear club within weeks.

The target date will most likely coincide with the commemoration of the 1979 Iranian Revolution in February:

Iran has already planned to celebrate its mastery of nuclear technology on the “Ten-Day Dawn Celebrations” which marks the victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979. The date runs from February 1 to February 11.

During the revolution, Iranian students in an unprecedented move, abducted US embassy officials and held them hostage for 444 days.

One of the students was the current Iranian President.

It is claimed that he appears as one of the alleged hostage takers in the picture below (3rd from the left).
